Missouri Highway 36 Heritage Alliance having meeting October 23rd

The Missouri Highway 36 Heritage Alliance is having their annual meeting October 23rd in Macon.
Alliance President Amy Supple says the Alliance is about boosting tourism to the towns along the roadway.

"Well, the Highway 36 Heritage Alliance promotes Missouri Highway 36 to increase travel and tourism along our stretch of highway across northern Missouri.  We have branded it The Way of American Genius and we celebrate all the great innovators and innovations that are from northern Missouri. We come together and talk about what's going on with the organization, things we want our members to know, but also provide educational opportunities in the area of tourism, marketing, all kinds of fun stuff so that people can better promote their communities and businesses."

Supple says the meeting is open to anyone, not just members of the alliance.
